He has completed his M. Sc. in Zoology and M. Phil. In Aquatic biology and fisheries from Kerala University. He has a teaching experience of 31 years in MarThoma College Thiruvalla and joined School of Applied Life Sciences Pathanamthitta as Assistant Professor in 2012. He retired as th HOD of post graduate and research department of Zoology, MarThoma college Thiruvalla. He served as the PG board of studies Chairman, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam.His area of interst is cell and molecular biology and Genetics.
